Rising Above Wrestling (RAW) is a Rochester-based nonprofit youth wrestling program dedicated to empowering inner-city boys and girls through the sport of wrestling.

RAW provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment where athletes develop discipline, confidence, resilience, and character both on and off the mat.

Through experienced coaches, committed community mentors, and access to high-level training, RAW uses wrestling as a vehicle to promote personal growth, academic focus, and positive life choices, helping young athletes rise above their circumstances and build a stronger future.
